MCG & AUSTRALIAN SPORTS MUSEUM TOUR
Thursday 6 October
This tour, commenced at 10am at the MCG a 2 1/2 hour tour introduced many of us to parts of the “G” previously unknown.  Despite a breakdown in Yarra Trams services to the area exactly at the wrong time, lunch at a local cafe was enjoyed.

Admission, Race Book, Chef prepared lunch, TV monitors, TAB access, fully stocked bar.  What a great day out. 
By popular demand this day out will be on again in 2023.

KERRISDALE RAILWAY DAY TRIP
Wednesday 21 September
A great day – despite the odd shower.  
The railway, based on the vintage narrow gauge steam railway and located in the Tallarook ranges, was a great day out!. Lunch wasn’t at the “Summit Station” but at the museum area, and everyone enjoyed the ride up to the top which provided spectacular views of the panorama of the Upper Goulburn Valley.  Andrew, who, with his wife Jennifer and a number of his friends designed, acquired and laid the track on the side of the (steep) hill.  Andrew also designed and built a steam engine “Douglas” from scratch.

POINT NEPEAN DAY TOUR
Thursday 17 February 2022.  Weather permitting includes a one-way flight on the Arthurs Seat ‘Eagle’, Lunch at Rye and the afternoon exploring Point Nepean using the park’s shuttle.

Yarra Valley Day Trip
Friday 18 March 2022:  Departing from Balwyn Leisure Centre, morning tea “a la covid”, a wine tasting, lunch and an opportunity to have a walk around Yarra Glen.

LIVING LEGENDS
Thursday 12 May
The coach left from the Balwyn Leisure Centre for a day to remember.  Members met some of the past stars of the track ‘out to pasture’ and enjoying a great retirement.

‘Silo Art Tour’
15 – 19 March 2021, 
was a roaring success.  A fantastic time was had by all.  Perhaps that had something to do with the delays caused by the COVID lockdown in 2020 but it was a wonderful week with a great group of friends.
